We picked this toy for a 9-18 month infant to help improve their fine motor skills. Some of the reasons we picked this toy was because we felt it would help alot with grasping and puting the shapes into the right spot. It would also teach them a little about shapes and if they get bored with that they can always shake them and watch the balls inside the shapes go crazy through the glass.

Some of the reasons we picked this toy were that it encourages the infant to sit or crawl up to the toy and reach into the box to grab the things inside.
